Whether it is big or small, it is a place for us to find Safety, have solitude, be with family and friends, and raise our children.
This last month, I lost my 1st cousin Kimberly Copeland. Kimberly was only 52 years old. She had been a hair stylist for over 32 years, and the funeral home was overflowing with family and friends wanting to celebrate her life.
During my 4 day stay in Texas before the funeral, I was able to catch up with a lot of family that I have not seen in years. I must have visited 10 homes seeing everyone. As I saw each family in their home, I started to notice how wonderfully proud everyone was of their home, and the way they interacted with their family and guest there. I realized that Home is the place where we get to experience our most deep emotions, and this is the thing that makes us Human Beings.
It was then that I had a moment and realized just how important what I do for people is. If I have helped you with a mortgage in the past or have the opportunity to help you in the future, I want you to know that it is a blessing for me and my team to be a part of such an important event in your life.
